An in-browser version is available for iPads.

Q-plus Bridge software: Advanced Declarer Play by Bernard Magee

The interactive way of improving your Declarer Play.

Bernard Magee, Britain’s most popular bridge teacher, lifts the level of your declarer play by making difficult plays appear easy, in the course of 120 complete deals under the following headings:

• Overtricks in No trump Contracts
• Overtricks in Suit Contracts
• Endplay
• Avoidance
• Wrong Contract
• Squeezes
• Counting the Hand
• Trump Trouble
• Double Contracts
• Safety Plays

With every hand, the auction has been pre-determined, using either Acol or Standard American bidding. You then play each hand as declarer.

The first two deals of each chapter offer ‘over the shoulder advice‘ during the course of the play. The remaining ten deals of each chapter provide Bernard‘s detailed explanations at the end of your own play.

The software is supported by user friendly help texts.

Current Login Issue

We are currently experiencing login issues for some users using Safari on iPads. We sincerely apologise and would like to assure you that this is a system issue and not something you are doing wrong when logging in.

If you are using an iPad could you please ensure you have cleared your Safari cache as follows:

  1. Open Settings

    • Tap the ⚙️ Settings app on your iPad.

  2. Go to Safari Settings

    • Scroll down and select Safari from the list.

  3. Clear History and Website Data

    • Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
    • Confirm by tapping Clear in the popup.

The issue is related to a third-party integration and we are working with the developers to get the issue resolved ASAP.
