It may be possible to correct an error in computing or tabulating the agreed score, whether by a player or a scorer, within a timescale set by the sponsoring organisation.
If the organisers do not set a time, the period for correction is for thirty minutes after the official score is displayed. To minimise the risk of scoring errors, players should write as legibly as possible and agree the score before returning the scoresheet to the board.
